In your answer you already found that the shaded area is 1 unit. That's good. But since it's only 1 unit, there's no need to multiply by 4

You labelled the unshaded area of triangle X as 3u. The unshaded area should be 2u only.

The shaded area is where the two triangles overlap. So you can't only just add their areas together. You'll have to subtract the extra area as it has been double counted.

So total area = 3 + 12 - 1 = 14 units

Required fraction = 1/14

U start correctly. Total unit for X is 3u. Shaded is 1u, therefore, unshaded for X is 2u.
