Steps:
1) 7/5 m = 7m ÷ 5 = 1.4m = 140cm
2) ¼ × 140cm = 140cm ÷ 4 = 35cm ← Mon
3) 35cm + 45cm = 80cm = 0.8m = 8/10 m ← all together
4) 8/10 m = ⅘ m (Ans)
