a ribbon was cut into 2 pieces in the ratio of 1:3. the longer piece then got cut into 2 pieces in the ratio 3:2. the shortest piece was 20cm shorter than the longest piece . what is the original length of the sting at first?

Longest piece after second cut will be the 9unit one, shortest piece will be 5units. Therefore the differences (4units) will equal to 20cm, making the length before it was cut 100cm
