Pretend there are 5 rounds of 24 minutes each (totalling 2 hours), since 120 minutes divided by 5 rounds = 24 minutes per round.

Since there can be 4 players at any one time, the order of play is like this.

1. ABCD
2. ABCE
3. ABDE
4. ACDE
5. BCDE

Each player plays on 4 of the rounds. So the total play time per player is 4 x 24 = 96 min.

Even if we split them into 10 rounds, the total time taken (after considering all the rounds) is still 96 min.
