Beware of the starting condition for the roots! Irregardless of this, the sum of roots for the given equation remains -b/a, while the product of roots for the same equation remains c/a. However, the naming of the roots will also define how the sum and product are named.

You will also require other basic manipulation skills such as combining terms into a single fraction.
