Blueberry = 5 units
Strawberry = 5 units + 200
= 5 units + 5 x 40
Blueberry sold = 1 unit
Strawberry sold = 3 units + 3 x 40
= 3 units + 120
Blueberry left = 4 units
Strawberry left = 2 units + 2 x 40
= 2 units + 80
Difference = 90
So 2 units + 80 + 90 = 4 units
This tells you that 2 units = 80 + 90 = 170
So 1 unit = 170 ÷ 2 = 85
Cupcakes sold
= 1 unit + 3 units + 120
= 4 units + 120
= 4 x 85 + 120
= 340 + 120
= 460
