- U have to balance the number of boys and girls to the no. of pupils.
- total of boys n girls is 16 & pupils is 20
- common no. is 80
Therefore girls and boys need to x5 to have 80 in total = no. of pupils
- when changing the ratio of pupils, teacher will change too when x4 both side.
- new ratio of teacher : pupils = 12:80
From the question: boys & teachers = 114
- u can find one unit and solve for the girls
- total of boys n girls is 16 & pupils is 20
