A has $42 more than B
After spending the same amount of money, at the end, A still has $42 more than B
At the end, A:B is 4:1 so A has ‘3 units’ more than B
3 units —> 42
1 unit —> 14
So B has $14 at the end and $48 at the start
So the shirt costs $48 - $14 = $34
