area cut = 3/5 x 1/2 = 3/10 = 0.3 m²

area left = 1 - 0.3 = 0.7 m²
(b)
Perimeter = 1+1+1+1 = 4 m
area cut = 3/5 x 1/2 = 3/10 = 0.3 m²
(a)
area left = 1 - 0.3 = 0.7 m²
(b)
Perimeter = 1+1+1+1 = 4 m
