Use the shoelace formula in your textbook

Back. We first need to plot the points out to see the shape, and not input into the shoelace formula as usual, because there are some restrictions on how to input the data into the shoelace formula (if ABCD is a polygon, we must put the order as ABCD; putting as ACBD will not get you the answer).

Since (3, 5) is not a vertex, omitting the data point does not affect the value.
