Since the triangles are similar,
DG/DF = CG/CF
DG/9 = 4/(4+8)
DG/9 = 4/12 = ⅓
DG = 9 x ⅓
DG = 3
DG/DF = CG/CF
DG/9 = 4/(4+8)
DG/9 = 4/12 = ⅓
DG = 9 x ⅓
DG = 3
