You can learn coordinate geometry purely from a maths so that you do not need to relearn it for e maths.

1. Factorisations (you will do many practice on it in a maths as part of questions)

2. Simultaneous equations

3. Quadratic Formula

4. Completing the square

5. Indices

6. Coordinate Geometry

7. Properties of Circles (can learn in conjunction with e maths though)

8. The front part of trigo

Because the value computed for the square root is not within the range -1 to 1

Sorry Kathy, for Q2, angle 2A is obviously in the first quadrant (ie acute) since cos 2A = 119/169 is a positive number.
