PA is twice of TB.

Since they have the same base length , area of RPQ is twice of RTQ.

RPQ = 2 x 34cm² = 68cm²

SC is thrice of TB.

Since they have the same base length , area of RSQ is thrice of RTQ.

RSQ = 3 x 34cm² = 102cm²

Realise that RSQ and RPQ overlap . The overlapping part is RTQ.

If you add RSQ and RPQ together to find the area of the whole figure, you would have double counted RTQ.

So area of figure = RSQ + RPQ - RTQ
