You need to start the question on graph paper. Vertical axis being the distance, horizontal axis being the time. You can choose the scaling.
Now, the question says that they start on opposite sides. We draw a line of gradient 20 from (0, 0) and a line of gradient MINUS 7 from (0, 32) and see where they meet. That’s for the first part. Second part just requires a little bit more work.
