A+B = 9

2A + 3 = C


C - 9 = A
2A + 3 - 9 = A
2A - 6 = A

A = 6

So C = A + 9 = 6 + 9 = 15
A + B + C = 9 + 15 = 24


However, if 9 - C = A instead,

Then 2(9 - C) + 3 = C

18 - 2C + 3 = C
21 = 3C

C = 7

A + B + C = 9 + 7 = 16
