(d) is not a function. This is because each input value (x-value) should have one and only one output value(y-value), according to function definition.

This question is highly subjective.

In (c), every input of x has exactly one output of y. So the data in (C) well represents a function.

In (d), there is one input of x (6) which produces two outputs.

However, if I call the y-values as the inputs, then the data in (d) will also be a function.

For your syllabus, you can just assume that he input is x and the output is y. So the data in (d) is not a function.
