Always the same techniques.
1. Eliminate any big square roots by squaring both sides (such as in Q29).
2. Eliminate fractions by cross-multiplication.
3. Collect all wanted like terms together and bring the rest to the other side.
4. Extract the wanted variable and factorise it out.
5. Finally, expel the unwanted terms attached to y to the other side by cross division.
