To be continued.

What you need to be aware of for this question is the concept of velocity and acceleration.

Velocity is defined to be the rate of change of distance with respect to time (v = ds/dt).

Acceleration is defined to be the rate of change of velocity with respect to time (a = dv/dt).

In this case, velocity and speed refer to the same thing as the person is assumed to be moving in a single direction.

From there, once you identify that you must differentiate the distance once to find the velocity and one more time to find acceleration, the rest is just simply understanding the context of the situation.
