How can I do a model with this question

You need to draw 4 boxes with equal length each and another large box

The 4 small boxes have value of $3 each.

There is no need for model though.

If each box is $3, then the cost of four boxes is $3 + $3 + $3 + $3 = $12.

If $90 money is given, then the amount of change left is

Money given - money spent
= $90 - $12
= $78

No, the TOTAL value of the 4 small boxes and the big box is 90

It’s not the big box that is $90 since $90 is the amount given by the person and is not the change received.

Something like this.

You have done subtraction of numbers before right? I mean, a number minus another number.
