how do u do 10 and 11?
37/16 = 2 + 5/16. So, a can be 1 or 2 (a cannot be 3 or more, because 37/16 = 3 - 11/16 and either b or c is bound to be negative).
Now, let’s say a = 1. Then 1 divided by (b + 1/c) is equal to 21/16. In other words, b + 1/c is 16/21. If b is a positive integer, c will definitely be negative. So a = 1 fails.
The only other case is a = 2, but does it work?
1 / (b + 1/c) = 5/16
b + 1/c = 16/5
Upon inspection, b has to equal 3 and c has to equal 5.
Hence, a = 2, b = 3, c = 5. Their sum is 10.
