How do I express y in terms of x for this equation?
xy - x3 = 1
xy = 1 + x3
So y = 1/x + x2
xy = 1 + x3
So y = 1/x + x2

you express y in terms of x by making y the subject. meaning you keep y on the left hand side and all the non y on the right hand side. hope this helps!
