2. Remainder theorem applies here, with remainder being equal to zero since there are factors present.

3. You will obtain one pair of simultaneous equations to solve.

4. Once you find p and q, you can perform comparing coefficients or long division to find the remaining quadratic expression (which of course must be a factor also) which will be factorised to become two more factors of the expression.
