Imagine the table lamp as the sunlight. To block out all the sunlight, the curtain must be opaque so that no shadow will be form when light is turn on. Hence the ans is C

To make sure that we block Out ALL sunlight, materi MUSTBE OPAQUE. When a light shines on this object, and it does not have a shadow, it does not allow ANY LIGHT TO PASS THROUGH.
