From the question information, you will deduce that dv/dt = 30 - aV , a is a constant.

When V = 450, dv/dt = -30

Sub V = 450, dv/dt = -30 into the above equation.

-30 = 30 - a(450)

450a = 60

a = 2/15

So, dv/dt = 30 - 2/15 V

- 15 dv/dt = 2V - 450 (shown)
