Area of shaded parts = Area of Big Circle + Area of both semicircles - Area of Triangle

Diameter of Big Circle = 9cm

Diameter of Semicircles = 5cm

We can combine both semicircle into a circle with diameter 5cm.

Using the formula pi * radius * radius and 1/2 * base * height l:

81/4 cm2 * pi + 25/4 cm2 * pi - 1/2 * 10cm * 9cm

= 26.5 cm2 * pi - 45cm2

= 38.21cm2

Seems more like a primary school question... anyways.. take a screenshot and zoom in, if the writing is too small.
