Nope. The question says he spent half of the remaining money in the afternoon.
The remaining money is 3/5 of total.
So money spent in the afternoon
= 3/5 x 1/2 = 3/10
So money left
= 3/5 - 3/10
= 6/10 - 3/10
= 3/10
