Working backwards. M gave L 3/7 to become 2/3.
so, what M has remaining is 4 out of 7. Red color.
In Step 2, L gave M 1/3, so she had 2/3 left. In order to represent it, L has 6 parts left, and gave 3 parts to M in blue.
In Step one, moving the 3 parts back to L, M has 2 parts more than L, which is 70, so each part or quarter (blue) is 35. THen you multiply accordingly
