Can someone explain why does the blue light have a shorter wavelength than red light?

Blue light is closer towards the gamma ray end of the spectrum than the radio wave end of the spectrum. Wavelengths decrease in the direction of the gamma ray end.

So blue light, being closer to the gamma ray end, will have a shorter wavelength than red light.
