The answer should be “The amount of light given out by the headlight and the amount of light detected by the light sensor has an inverse relationship.”

Explanation: There are 2 types of relationship – direct and inverse.
1. Direct relationship: 2 variables move in the same direction.
Example: When one variable increases, the other variable also increases. (If one decreases, the other also decreases.)

2. Inverse relationship: 2 variables move in the opposite direction.
Example: When one variable increases, the other variable decreases. (If one decreases, the other increases.)

Relating back to the question, in the table, you can see that as the amount of light detected by the light sensor decreases, the amount of light given out by the headlight increases. This means that they have an inverse relationship.
