An easier way to approach is
Length difference from 12 cm to 15 cm is 3 cm.
Corresponding height difference is 10 cm.
So 10 cm height --> 3 cm length
4 cm height --> 1,2 cm length
So x = 12 + 1.2 = 13.2 cm.
