Okay hi rosie, i don't have paper with me right now, but i can try to help you.
The age differnce is 5. If their total age is going to be 65, take 65-5=60. Take 60÷2, this gives you the age of the younger sibling. So ravi will be 30 years old and devi will be 35.
As ravi is 30 years old, take 30-11=19. So in 19 years, their total age will be 65.

Okay, beacuse age difference doesn't change. If i'm 17 now and you're 11, i'm 6 years older than you. When you're 14, i'll be 20. The age gap is still 6 years years, though 3 years have passed. Our total age will increase by 3x2=6 years. The time passed will by mulitplied by 2 and added to our total age.
