Hey bud, if i'm not mistaken, you don't know what the difference is between significant figures and decimal places, right?

Let's say the number is 2094.853, if they ask you for 3sf, the answer would be 2090, for significant figures, look at the number they want. In this case, the sf is 3, so count. The third number from the front is 9, look at the number after that, it's 4. For 4, you round down, right? You make it zero instead of making it 10. So your number becomes 2090.

But lets say they're asking for DP. Say... 2 dp(?), look at the third dp, it's 3, once again. Round down. So your answer will be 2094.85.
But if they ask for 1 dp, your answer becomes 2094.9, because your 5 rounds up.

0.000670009, for 3sf, your answer will be 0.000670, but for 3dp, your answer will be 0.001. Geddit?

Anyway, as for question 12, if you didnt see it, they gave you the area and it was a square. Squre root the area to find the length of each side.

Hope this helps you out : )
