On the right-hand side, I see two of the three terms having (x + 1). So using x = -1 kills these two terms leaving behind C.

Now we have the value of C. Out of the remaining two terms, only one has (x - 2). So using x = 3 kills this term, leaving behind only a term in B.

Once we have found the value of B, we can replace x by any value other than -1 or 3; a good choice is 0 or 1 since a lot of the terms can be easily calculated. Now we can find the value of A.
