Physics but hope someone could help me!! I can’t explain :(
I just know that the 2nd method the student use would allow him/her to get a more accurate answer but it’s 2 marks so I’m not sure... Do Help!! >.<

Depends on how you answer it though. based on the year given, it comes from a past year paper, so you can browse the ten-year series for this and look at the suggested solutions for clues to where the 2 marks are awarded.

It's a similar reason to why athlete training for a 100m race runs a distance of 100 m over many attempts before taking the average.

You never know, the athlete runs 10 seconds in the first attempt, then 10.8 seconds in the third, then 11.1, 10.7, 11.1, 11.0 etc. Had we taken the first reading, we may be misled into thinking that the athlete can run in 10 seconds consistently.
