I did not put the final x and y in coordinate form due to lack of space (the y = something was already at the bottom of my paper).

Gradient is infinity because it is too high.

Gradient is too high when the change in height divided by the change in base is too high.

This is when the change in base is too low i.e. we set the change in base to zero.
