Hi my question is regarding questions 6b only I really do not understand how did 0.0625 came about and the whole answer for 6B please help me explain really clearly so that I can understand thank you very much for your help really appreciate it

Thanks but I don’t understand why 6.5 km² divided by 0.0625 km Square ?

650km² ÷ 0.0625km² = 104. So 650km² is made up of one hundred and four 0.0625km². Then since 0.0625km² irl is 1cm² on the map, one hundred and four 0.0625km² irl is 104 × 1cm² = 104cm² on the map. I hope this helps!

The answer for both part a) and b) require use of ratio and proportion. Know that 1km = 1000m and 1m= 100cm. If it takes a longer time, just stick to what you already know and go step by step backward.
