Lol by the way for that same qns (I) second part, I got 200/sin(90-theta)
mathematically, ur ans 200/sin(90-θ) is correct.
bcos 90-θ and θ are complementary angles,
200/sin(90-θ) becomes
200/cosθ
which is the same as mine.
but like my ans, u din catch the "hence" in part (i),
so ur ans is different from the ans sheet (which shld be the correct one.)
hope this ans ur qns. :)

note:
BC + CD = BD = 1200
so CD = 1200 - BC = 1200 - 800tanθ
which is in the ans sheet.
BC + CD = BD = 1200
so CD = 1200 - BC = 1200 - 800tanθ
which is in the ans sheet.

Hello, thank you for helping, but for part (i) the second qns, I noticed the ans was CD=1200-800tan(theta),
the ans for CD=1200-800tan(theta), shld be correct, bcos i din catch the "hence" in the qn.
bcos of "hence" , CD shld be derived from BC.
whereas, i start from ΔCDE afresh.

Ohh okay now I understand the significance of the hence, thank you for replying so late! Have a good night.
dun forget to upvote!
Ofc
thank you for ur upvote! :)
Js curious but what’s the point of upvotes?
