The ans script explain 4/9 ×54..the get the the amt for the beads used (red) why is that so?

used 4/9 red beads,
since there are 54 more red than green at first
this means 4/9 x 54 red beads used too.

Sorry my understanding .. if 4/9 of 54 means that total no of beads is 54, 9/9 only 4 of the fraction is used which is 24..

nope, "4/9 of 54" means 4/9 of 54 "extra" red beads.
"extra" as in 54 more red than green.
the total no. of red beads is much more than 54 beads
