As you can see I have shown you two different answers the one on top is my teacher’s answer and the one below is the one I tried to solve and I don’t understand why the answers are different for my teacher’s answer(the top one),I don’t understand why the second line the whole equation changes 15-7y-2y^2 suddenly becomes 2y^2+7y-15 I totally dont understand the change in the second line for the + and - signs and my last answer u can see is y=5 while my teacher is one is y=-5 someone please help and explain to me very clearly thank you so much

Your equation is wrong. It should be -2y^2 instead of 2y^2 when you bring over

Thank you so much for your answer but I want to clarify is my teacher’s answer wrong? because I really do not understand the second line for my teacher’s answer also my teacher got the answer as -5
