8a) Length of the square is equal on all sides equal to 12 cm. Area equal to length x length or 12 x 12 =144 cm2. Area of triangle equal to 1/2 x 12 x9 equal 54 cm2 . Total are equal to 198 cm2.
B) Area of rectangle equal to length x width 10 x 8 equal to 80 cm2. Area of triangle equal to 1/2 × 4 x 8 equal to 16 cm2.
Total area equal to 96 cm2
c) Area of square equal to 10 x 10 = 100 cm2.
Area of triangle equal to 1/2 x 10 x 10 equal to 50 cm2. Total area equal to 150 cm2.
