6. No. It is because you would still need to know the mass number of the atom to determine the atom.

7. Yes. The atoms in the periodic table were sorted according to their atomic number (which is also number of protons).

Adding on to Jack's answer,

Q6. You are unable to specifically identify the atom because the number of neutrons can change given a particular atom (i.e. isotopes).
