5 men take 2 days to build a table.
So to build 9 tables, they will take :
2 days per table x 9 tables = 18 days
To build 9 tables in 3 days,
3 days ÷ 18 days = 1/6
It has to be done in 1/6 the time. Which also means 6 times as fast. So, we need 6 times the number of people.
5 men x 6 = 30 men
30 men - 5 men = 25 men
25 more men are needed.
So to build 9 tables, they will take :
