average savings of nick and jimmy
= $98
so total savings of nick and jimmy
= $98 x 2 = $196

jimmy saved $44 less than nick
so 2 times nick's savings = $(196+44)
= $240
hence,
nick's savings = $120
jimmy's savings = $(120-44) = $76

average savings of 4 children, excluding nick = $68
so total savings of 4 children, excluding nick = $68 x 4 = $272

hence,
total savings of 5 children
= $(272+120) = $392

thus,
average savings of 5 children
= $392÷5 = $78.40
