I not yet learnt algebra. Please help me to solve this problem.
1 kg of banana = $4
Difference in 1 kg of banana & watermelon = $4
$96 ÷ $4 = 24
24 kg of bananas and 24 kg of watermelon were bought. Total mass of fruits is 48 kg.
If both fruits cost the same amount of $, ratio of watermelon to banana will be 1:2
Why? 1 kg of watermelon is $8, 2 kg of banana is $8 too.
