2 workers can paint a house in one day.

So 2 workers can paint 2 houses in 2 days.

Now, 6 workers is 3 times of 2 workers.

So they will be 3 times as fast. This also means they will take ⅓ of the time.

Number of days 6 workers will take to paint 2 houses

= 2 days ÷ 3
= ⅔ day
