Dear Sir/Mdm,
I need help on part (c). Couldn’t think of how to form equation in x.
I have managed to do (a) and my (b) is y=12-2x. Thank you.

Notice that you can find the length of HK in two ways.

One way is to add the two radii of the circles together. The other way is to find TK and subtract TH from it.

So compare the results of the two ways. Then you will eventually get the equation.

You will need to use the Pythagoras' Theorem.
