The question is how many more girls than boys in room Y. Let the number of boys in room X is B. Then the number of girls in room X is B+30. The number of boys in room Y is B+10. The total number of children in room Y is B+(B+30)+60=2B+90 So the number of girls in room Y is (2B+90)-(B+10)=B+80. So there were (B+80)-(B+10)=70 girls than boys in room Y.
