Answer is clear but one thing I did understand why did u divide 78÷3 × 2 . Can u explain please.

Hi dear, the question stated "the length of EC is half the length of DE". Therefore, total length of 78cm is divided by 3 (which you'll get the length of EC). Since EC is half the length of DE, DE is 2 times longer than EC Which is why (78÷3x2) understand? :)
