Find the anount of $5 notes more than $2
11x5=$55

Take the total amount minus $55
300-55=$245

$245 is the amount for the remaining number of $5 notes plus $2 notes

Take $5+$2=$7
$245/7=35

There are 35 $2 notes.

Hi. Forgive the ugly drawing. Using my phone. Anyway, draw a model of three parts, the green and blue are equal number of units, the red is the 11 units of $5.
So total value of the 2 and 5 notes of equal number of units is
$300 - the red $5x11. = $245

Now, the green and blue number of notes is $245. Visualise a stack of notes, all $5 and $2. You want to pao Ang Pow for new year,
so each packet will have 1x$5, and 1x$2. So each Ang pow is $2+$5 or $7. So you divide $245 by $7 and you get 35!
Therefore she got 35 $2 notes and 35+11 or 46 $5 notes.
Do a check.
35x2 + 46x5=300.
