Ahmad at first: 8 units
David at first : 11 units

Difference = 11 - 8 = 3 units

Ahmad after giving away : 9 units
David after giving away : 14 units

Difference = 14 - 9 = 5 units

Since they gave away equal number of toy cars, their difference before giving away and after giving away is the same. So make the number of units the same.

5 x 3 = 15
3 x 5 = 15

So the difference is actually 15 units.

So actually, Ahmad at first
= 8 x 5 = 40 units

Ahmad after giving away
= 9 x 3 = 27 units

40 - 27 = 13

He gave away 13 units.

Percentage Ahmad gave away
= 13/40 x 100%
= 32.5%

This is a constant difference question as they said that both gave away the same amount of toy cars
